The mobile phone brands with the best price reductions during Black Friday 2017
Thinking about buying a new mobile phone and wondering brands were reduced the most during Black Friday 2017? Here’s the top five most popular manufacturers and how much their mobile phones were reduced during the biggest sales’ day of the year.
If you’re considering buying a newer phone model you can save a lot during Black Friday, sometimes up to a hundred pounds or more. On last year’s Black Friday, the biggest price drops on phones was from Huawei.
During Black Friday, Huawei’s prices were on average 10,40 per cent lower than on 1 November 2017. The most popular phone from Huawei was the P10 Lite that dropped in price by 21,04 per cent.
Next to follow were phones from Motorola Moto, LG and Samsung. The world’s biggest mobil phone manufacturer, Samsung (Q3 2018 enligt IDC), had on average a 3,83 per cent lower price on their phones. Apple, and their popular iPhone series, only dropped by 2,58 per cent compared to 1 November.

When one check out the prices of the most popular mobile phones during Black Friday, it’s clear you can save a lot of money on a phone.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 64GB cost £ 499 at its lowest during Black Friday and at two other occasions in November, otherwise the lowest price was £ 649, which was on 7 and 8 November. So you could have saved £ 150 if you bought your phone on Black Friday.
Of the 15 mobile phones in the lead table below, ten mobile phones were at their cheapest on Black Friday. Two of the mobile phones were cheaper at least one other day in November. We have removed three of the mobile phones from the calculation because there are no data for different reasons, such as they are no longer on sale.
